Chanting Sheep album “re-released”

A yet unnamed German publisher will release a re-mixed version of Chanting Sheep’s “Titanium and Anthracyte” album, propably later this year. It will be re-released in CD format in an edition of 500. More info here as details surface. Mastermind behind this operation is Thorsten Wald – the other half of Chanting Sheep.

For several reasons I will no longer give my music away for free. I would like to keep doing it, but as it is I need every penny I can get.
All my old albums as well as future projects will be published at a bandcamp.com page which I am currently setting up. I will post a link here as soon as it’s up and running.

Current projects: second Lost in the Woods album, a project which now consists of me and Johan Levin (Desiderii Marginis). Johan and I have been making music together for 22 years, but this is our first collaborative effort outside of specific bands. Related to the Lost in the Woods album is In the Church Made of Living Trees Entwined, a solo album that will be more song-based than previous efforts. I’m also working on a side-release called Uppe På Berget (up on the mountain).

Revision history: A long time coming, Titanium and Anthracyte won’t have to be revised. German musician Thorsten Wald started this collaboration with Lars Tängmark in 2001. Both Lars and Thorsten play, compose and sing on the 10 tracks. Obscure ambient passages rub shoulders with bouncy tunes recalling early Legendary Pink Dots. This is not an Odensjö Recording release but a Hotel Encore release. Why not visit hotel-encore and learn more about Thorsten Wald’s other musical projects?

Odensjö Recordings is netlabel that releases music by swedish artist and musician Lars Tängmark. Currently available are Lars Tängmark’s solo works.
Needless to say the “label” is run by Lars Tängmark himself .

Lars Tängmark has been active musician and artist since 1988. He was a founding member of the electronic goth/rock/wave band The Wounded Meadow and the death metal band Choir of Vengeance. Since 1999 Lars has recorded abstract/psychedelic electronic music under his own name.

Besides being a member of Wounded Meadow and viking metal band King of Asgard Lars is now working together with Johan Levin (Desiderii Marginis) on an album by the project Lost in the Woods (a project that released one CDR album in 2001 and which was a Lars Tängmark side project at the time).
